The Todt Organization was a civil and military engineering group in Nazi Germany that was named after its founder, Fritz Todt. The organization was responsible for constructing fortifications, buildings, and highways and played a significant role in the German war effort during World War II. It employed both German and foreign workers, including forced labor from concentration camps. The organization was dissolved in May 1945, shortly after the end of the war, and many of its members were tried and convicted of war crimes.
